ARMY NATIONAL GUARD BAND

The 42nd Infantry Division Band, known as the “Rainbow Band,” serves as the musical ambassador of the New York Army National Guard and carries a legacy that dates back to 1852. As part of the historic 42nd Infantry “Rainbow” Division, the band represents a tradition of service, excellence, and patriotism through performances across New York and beyond. Made up of talented Soldier-Musicians from diverse professional and musical backgrounds, the band performs everything from ceremonial military music to jazz, rock, and contemporary selections. While music is central to its mission, the members of the 42nd Infantry Division Band are Soldiers first, supporting military operations, community events, state emergency responses, and overseas deployments with pride and professionalism.

  • Come on down to the Schaghticoke Fairgrounds for their America 250 Celebration! We will be performing all your favorite patriotic melodies to commemorate the historic event!

  • Join our musical performance teams at one of North America’s natural wonders, Niagara Falls! There will be a great mix of repertoire from The Governors Own Brass Quintet and the Bear Mountain Brass!
